Intercollegiate Haiku Contest

The Conversa Club of Mar Osthatheos Training College, Perumpilavu, conducted an Intercollegiate Haiku contest, in observance of the Haiku Month, February. The contest was held in the last week of  February and the last date for submitting entries was February 28. The contest witnessed enthusiastic participation from students from various B.Ed. colleges across Kerala. The result of the competition was declared on 6 March and e-certificates were sent to the winners via email.

First Prize- Juliya K. Davis, Jesus Training College, Mala.

Second Prize- Harshidha K. H., Ansar Training College for Women, Perumpilavu.

Third Prize- Drisya K. Saji, Mount Tabor Training College, Pathanapuram.

 

The Hugo Tribute Quiz and Puzzle

 The Hugo Tribute Quiz and Puzzle 

The Conversa Club of Mar Osthatheos Training College, Perumpilavu, conducted an online quiz and puzzle competition, 'The Hugo Tribute', to commemorate the birth anniversary of the renowned French author, Victor Hugo. The event took place on February 26th from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of our college, who showcased their knowledge and appreciation for Victor Hugo's works.

Results of the Quiz 

 First Prize- Farzana C. J., Commerce.

Second Prize- Nasima Shahenas A.P., Commerce.

Third Prize- Anumol C. K., Natural Science 

The result of the competition was formally declared by our Principal, Dr. Varghese P. I., in the General Hall of the college on February 27th morning and certificates were later distributed to the winners.

Film Festival

 

                

Report on Film Festival

        Mar Osthatheos Training College conducted an "Phalke International Film Festival" in association with Socias Club, Conversa Club and NSS on 3/3/2023. We played eight movies in two theatres. The Films are in different languages and genres. Based on film festival we conducted an Acting competition for students and teachers and also we conducted an open forum on 'Patriarchy in Films'. We started the film festival at 10.00 am and ended at 4.00 pm.

Nanpakal nerath mayakam.

The imitation Game.
